Mark Olynyk

Mark Olynyk, a philosopher-poet, commenced his poetic exploration in 1996, and since then, he has been expressing his thoughts eloquently. His poetry embellishes anthologies and journals, including The Prairie Journal (2001- 2002), Canadian Writer’s Journal (2002), and Lockdown Poetry (2020).

Mark independently published two chapbooks, namely “The Interior Sea: A Book of Poetic Philosophy” (1997) and “Hearsay and Heresy: Poetry Volume II” (1998), in collaboration with The Plowman. Additionally, he created two different editions of “Written in Stone” (2012 and 2016) with FriesenPress.

In his most recent self-publishing endeavor through Kindle Direct Publishing, Mark introduced Stones of Time (2024) and a Poetry Trilogy consisting of “Little Consequence” (2022), “Grist for the Mill” (2023), and “Trivial Pursuits” (2023).

With a focus on introspection and evocative themes, Olynyk’s work serves as a poetic self-help, offering readers profound insights and reflections.
